Photo Montage Reflection

The overall layer order turned out well;

But shooting in a way to create flowing panorama without too much overlap was a challenge.

Next time I want to try and get less overlap with the different pictures.

I used the compressing tool to quickly open and efficiently work with all the images at once and the transform controls to move them all to their proper places.

I can remember all these tools in any aspects of graphic design as well as shooting photographs for any technical papers I might draft.

Becci Mansion

She started the project to help families reclaim their damaged photographs.

She reached out through Facebook and LinkedIn initially, then partnered with two Japanese towns to set up photo reclamation centers that sent scanned photos to volunteers around the world.

We can use them to preserve photographs, which in turn preserve memories.

Her work was important because it saved the memories that are important to all of the survivors.

Photo Restoration Reflection

The use of the spot healing brush tool to remove water spots worked the best, and the healing brush tool worked well to repair tears around areas of higher detail or contrasts, like on the subject's faces.

The most challenging part was trying to fix the larger tears, as I couldn't use any one tool to quickly repair the damage.

Next time I would spend more time using the healing brush with targeting than the spot healing brush.

I used both healing tools; the spot brush for water marks and tears of large parts over the plain background, and targeting brush for areas requiring more detail, such as the subject's faces or clothes.

This is something I might apply to old photos my mother and grandmother want to save.
